my best friend helium..

Ok so I haven’t blogged in a while
Just been reali busy with lots of things.
So since I badly needed to get diploma related points
I volunteered to help out at the yellow ribbon carnival
I mean I didn’t go for all the meetings or the decorations
But I was kinda half hearted going for the carnival.

Well firstly the damn thing is in toa payoh and had to be there by 7 am!
Can you imagne 7 am!!!! Which meant I had to be up at 5 and leave at 530ish
So I would take the train around 545 and be there by 640
and by the time I find the place it would be close to 7
hello I dun even wake up at that time for secondary school!
The earliest is 530!!!!
Well I set the alarm at 430 and woke up 548 haha
I was supposed to be in the train by then!
So I got ready and took a cab down.
So much easier!
Since I was part of logistics I had to distribute goodie bags and all that
But it wouldn’t start till about 10 plus
So we were asked to help out at the games stalls for the time being
I went to a stall which looked like they didn’t need much help but no
They actually needed tons of help with their dart game
Where people throw darts at balloons
And see what prize they get
We tried all sorts of ways to get the balloons to stick onto the Styrofoam board
Seriously from scotchtape to masking tape even double sided tape and map pins
They kept falling off once they were hung on the wall
So I came up with the idea of stringing balloons and pasting around the wall
It was a brilliant idea
Because it was soooo easy to do!!!!
Then me being an itchy backside decided to use the helium tank!!!
Well it was in the hall which was air conditioned so I just had to sit there
And string balloons so it was fine
Well our games stall became so popular
that we were stringing as many as 300 balloons
but it was ok.. then I attempted to make the longest string of balloons that would go reali high up
but everytime I did a few string of about 50 balloons they would steal
them for the damn game!!!!
In the end the helium tank was empty so me and yenni took the last few balloons
And starting inhaling helium and talking like chipmunks
Hahahaha super funny I couldn’t stop laughing!

I didn’t stop laughing till I slept on the long bus ride home
And everyone was relieved…

the longest string coz they couldnt fly!!!

this was my best friend for the day! MR Helium tank hahah it was actually outside the room but they were playing street soccer and the ball hit us once so i rolled it into the room
